Verona School Water Declared Safe After Student Illnesses
Recent tests confirm the tap water at the Anna Frank middle school in Sona, Verona, is safe for consumption, following an incident where three students required emergency room treatment after falling ill.
Initial concerns prompted a thorough investigation led by experts from the Arpav laboratory adn the Food Hygiene and Nutrition Service of Ulss 9. Samples where collected both within the school and from the Lugagnano di Sona aqueduct,which supplies the institute’s water. Results confirmed the absence of contamination and adherence to all safety standards, as stated by the local health company.
Further analysis conducted by Veronese Waters at the supplying water plant also revealed no presence of bacteria and full compliance with current regulations.
Despite the confirmation of safe water quality,the cause of the students’ illness remains undetermined. Authorities continue to investigate what triggered the adverse reactions, leaving the source of the incident a lingering mystery.
