Virginia Beach Man Walks again After Rare Paralysis
A Virginia Beach man is sharing his remarkable story of hope after experiencing a serious health crisis that left him paralyzed.
Ra-Jon James amazed his doctors by walking again months after being “close to death” and becoming paralyzed following a rare diagnosis, per WTKR 3. His symptoms first appeared on July 28, and those around him were instantly concerned.
“I started to feel weak, and other people who hung out with me, they actually noticed that my eyes were red,” James recalled to the outlet.
He visited an urgent-care clinic, but his test results all came back negative, so he returned home. hours later, his health took a turn, and he collapsed on the floor, unable to get up or walk when his father attempted to get him to the hospital.
Amid his alarming symptoms, james remembered hearing a voice that told him he “was gonna be okay.”
