Tokyo’s VIRTÙ has claimed the No. 48 spot on The 50 Best Bars 2026 list, marking its third consecutive year among the world’s leading cocktail destinations.
Parisian Vintage Meets Japanese Craftsmanship
Perched 39 storeys above the city at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi, the Paris-meets-Tokyo lounge earned the distinction for its ongoing focus on craftsmanship, storytelling, and hospitality. The venue blends French vintage spirits and rare cognacs with Japanese ingredients.
Leadership Credits Team Dedication
Keith Motsi serves as Head Bartender, while Uday Rao operates as Regional Vice President and General Manager of the property.
“Being recognised in The 50 Best Bars 2026s for the third time means a lot to our entire team,” Motsi said. “Every evening, we return to VIRTÙ with a simple intention: to create joyful, memorable moments for our guests.”

Rao noted that the team’s dedication to craft defines the venue. “VIRTÙ brings together two iconic cultures, Paris meets Tokyo in the most effortless ways, but what guests remember most are personalities in the Bar, the Virtu team that create that magic and memorable moments,” Rao said.
International Footprint in Global Cocktail Culture
The global ranking follows several other recent awards for the Tokyo venue. VIRTÙ earned a spot on Asia’s 50 Best Bars for the fourth time in 2026 and secured recognition on Forbes Travel Guide’s Best Hotel Bars list in 2025.
Global Group Accolades
Two other properties within the hospitality group joined VIRTÙ on the 2026 global ranking. ARGO at Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong and BKK Social Club at Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River also appeared on The 50 Best Bars 2026 list, highlighting the brand’s footprint in international cocktail culture.
