Health Center Future in Vivier-au-Court Uncertain

Doctors and health professionals in Vivier-au-Court are expressing mixed emotions. They received The Ardennes at the office of Dr. Jean-Jacques Schlachter and physiotherapist Sasha Le Provost, three days before the municipal council‘s deliberation confirming their desire to purchase the health center upon its construction. “basically, I came here for the health project, I was excited, and now I have questions. All this is my future,” says the 26-year-old professional, voicing her uncertainty.

Patrick Topor, a retired doctor and member of the association created by professionals to spearhead this project, highlights the multiple misunderstandings wiht the municipal council over many years. “We have the impression that the municipality does not want to get involved, wich is a bit depressing. And we refuse to become scapegoats if the project fails!” warns Dr.Topor.
