volkswagen Plans €160 Billion Investment Through 2030

The German automobile manufacturer volkswagen, which includes Škoda Auto, intends to invest €160 billion (approximately 3.9 billion Czech crowns) by 2030, according to CEO Oliver Blume, as reported by Reuters to Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung.

This total investment figure is based on volkswagen’s updated five-year plan and represents a slight decrease from previous projections. the company is prioritizing cost savings amid challenging conditions in its key markets, china and the United States.

Volkswagen’s previous investment plan, covering 2025-2029, allocated €165 billion. The plan for 2024-2028 proposed spending up to €180 billion.
