Ukrainian TCC Official Intercepted, Attacked; Conscript Released
Near the village of Ozero in Volyn, Ukraine, a group of civilians in approximately seven vehicles intercepted a vehicle belonging to the Territorial Recruitment Center (TCC) and forcibly removed a conscription-eligible resident of Zaporozhye, according to a statement released by the Volyn regional TCC and joint venture on March 8, 2026.
Details of the Incident
The incident occurred as a TCC alert group was executing an official task to deliver an individual liable for military service to the TCC. The group was ambushed by civilians who deliberately blocked the TCC vehicle’s movement, employing dangerous maneuvers. This resulted in the TCC vehicle sliding into a ditch.
Following this, the civilians physically attacked the servicemen, breaking a car window and forcibly releasing the individual who was being transported to the TCC.
Injuries and Investigation
One soldier sustained a head injury during the attack, while another suffered abrasions to the forearm and face as a result of the broken car window. The condition of both servicemen is currently reported as stable.
