Eight VSK players selected in the gross squads for the Women’s WC

Grove-Knutsen, Selbekk, Robertsen, Janhunen, Lohiniva, Spång, Ljung and Ericsson are selected in the gross squads for Norway, Finland and Sweden for the WC.

  • It is a squad with a very good mix of WC routine and several young players who challenge for places before the upcoming championships. The squad also shows what a strong breadth we have at the top of Swedish women’s handball right now, says Sweden’s confederation captain Olle Wiberg.
  • We have an exciting time ahead of us when we have to nail down the final squad that will fight for WC gold in Finland. after this weekend’s internationals, there are many pieces to evaluate before the final puzzle can be put together. We have had the opportunity to test our details in several different conditions and know that we are well equipped for the conditions that await in Finland.
