Schmitz Cargobull Announces Leadership Changes in Romania and Türkiye
Münster, Germany – January 14, 2026 – Schmitz Cargobull, a leading manufacturer of trailers and semi-trailers, has announced changes to its leadership structure in Romania and Türkiye.
Constantin Victor Burcioi has been appointed as the new Country Manager for Romania. Burcioi has been with Schmitz Cargobull as 2005, and has led the sales of both new and used vehicles in Romania and Moldova sence 2014. This appointment reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the Romanian market.

Kerem Tas, currently Country Manager for Türkiye, will also continue to oversee the Schmitz Cargobull plant in Adapazari. He will report directly to Sales Director Ralph Kleideiter, a structure that was implemented in January 2026.This consolidation aims to streamline operations and enhance coordination within the international Schmitz Cargobull production network.

Schmitz Cargobull,founded in 1892 as a blacksmith shop in Altenberge,Germany,has grown into a major player in the commercial vehicle industry. The company expanded with a location in Vreden in 1969. As of 2024/2025, Schmitz Cargobull employs over 6,000 people and produces approximately 50,000 vehicles annually, generating sales of around €2.16 billion.
