Las Vegas Weather Forecast: Gusty Winds and Cooler Temperatures Expected Sunday
Las Vegas residents can expect breezy conditions and a drop in temperatures this Sunday, according to the latest forecast from FOX5 Vegas. A First Alert Weather Day remains in effect for Saturday, with stronger winds and a chance of scattered showers moving into the region.
Sunday’s outlook calls for mostly cloudy skies, with highs in the mid-60s to low 70s and overnight lows in the mid-30s. Winds will shift from the south-southwest, averaging between 11 and 17 mph throughout the day, with gusts potentially reaching higher speeds during peak heating hours.
The cooling trend follows a period of increased wind activity across Southern Nevada, where gusts of 20–30 mph were reported earlier in the week before conditions began to ease. Meteorologists note that another weather system is moving in this weekend, contributing to the unsettled pattern.
Residents are advised to secure loose outdoor objects and exercise caution while driving, particularly in high-profile vehicles or exposed areas. While no significant rainfall is currently expected for Sunday, isolated showers remain possible, especially on Saturday.
