Water Treatment Technician Opportunity in Varese, Italy

MAW SpA, a search and selection firm based in Milan, Italy, is recruiting a Water Treatment Technician for a leading company in the water treatment sector. The position is located in the province of Varese, with a primary service area of Milan and its surrounding region.

Job Responsibilities

The Water Treatment Technician will be responsible for the routine maintenance and assistance related to water purification systems. Key duties include:

• Performing routine maintenance on water purification systems, including filter cleaning and general cleaning.
• Replacing faulty parts as needed.
• Providing assistance to private clients.
• Weekly trips to company warehouses to manage parts inventory (unloading faulty parts and loading latest parts).

Initially, the technician will work under the guidance of an experienced technician. They will be provided with a tablet containing a daily list of interventions (approximately 2-4 per day) and a company van for independent travel.

Requirements

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Possess a valid Driver’s License (Patent B).
• Be available to travel within the regional territory.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and patience.
• Exhibit fine manual dexterity and familiarity with common work tools.

Working Conditions and Compensation

This is a full-time position with a fixed-term contract, potentially leading to permanent employment based on performance. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM and 1:15 PM to 5:15 PM.

The compensation package includes:

• Gross monthly salary: €1,781.68 – €1,981.68 (4th-3rd level of Commerce, plus 13th and 14th month salary).
