Electric Callboy Announces New Album ‘Tanzneid’ and Brawl Stars Collaboration ‘Hypercharged’

Electric Callboy has officially announced their new album Tanzneid, set for release on August 7, 2026, via Century Media Records. The announcement coincides with the release of their collaborative single “Hypercharged” with global mobile gaming phenomenon Brawl Stars, which also introduces the new character Damian to the game’s universe.

Album Announcement and Release Details

The German electro-metal band revealed Tanzneid as the follow-up to their 2022 album Tekkno, which generated nearly a billion streams and supported a world tour selling over 200,000 tickets. According to the band, Tanzneid took everything out of them creatively but was ultimately the record they needed to make.

The album will be released on August 7, 2026, through Century Media Records. Pre-orders are now available with exclusive collector’s editions. The release will be celebrated at Escalation Fest 2026 in Berlin, where Electric Callboy will perform the new album live for the first time, including special elements such as an Electric Bassboy DJ Set, a Loveboat, multiple guests, and an actual Tekkno Train.

Brawl Stars Collaboration: ‘Hypercharged’

Alongside the album announcement, Electric Callboy released “Hypercharged,” a single created in partnership with Brawl Stars. The track serves as the official theme for Damian, a brand-new character introduced into the Brawl Stars universe through this collaboration.

The band described the creative process as natural, stating they have always been massive gaming fans and that teaming up with Brawl Stars felt like a perfect match. They noted that Damian’s character fits their sound perfectly — heavy, explosive, and impossible to ignore — combining pressure, groove, and madness in a way that aligns with their musical style.

The music video for “Hypercharged” garnered 1.6 million likes within its first hour of release, indicating strong initial reception from fans of both the band and the game.
