Wisdom Bioscience Launches Scientific Advisory Board to Advance Oral Cancer Diagnostics

IRVINE, Calif. & DARESBURY, England – March 2, 2026 – Wisdom Bioscience, Inc., a biotechnology company focused on non-invasive oral cancer diagnostics, today announced the formation of its Scientific Advisory Board (SAB). This follows the completion of an initial funding round and signals a significant step forward in the company’s mission to improve early detection of oral cancer.

Expert Guidance for Innovation

The newly formed SAB comprises leading experts in cell-free DNA (cfDNA), oncology screening and molecular diagnostics. Members include Drs. Giulia Kennedy, Arnold Levine, John Sninsky, Martin Goldberg, and Professor Tin Tin Su. The board will provide strategic scientific and clinical guidance as Wisdom Bioscience advances its product pipeline and expands its service offerings.

Meet the Scientific Advisory Board

• Giulia Kennedy, Ph.D.: Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of PinkDx, Inc., a molecular diagnostic company specializing in women’s gynecological cancers. Previously, she served as Chief Scientific Officer and Chief Medical Officer of Veracyte, Inc., where she led the development and commercialization of eight genomic diagnostic tests.
• Arnold Levine, Ph.D.: A renowned researcher with 35 years of experience in molecular oncology, genomics, tumor suppressor gene functions, and epidemiological contributions to cancer formation. His recent work focuses on the immune response to cancers, cancer therapies, and prevention.
• John Sninsky, Ph.D.: Brings extensive experience in the development and commercialization of laboratory developed tests and in vitro diagnostic organizations, with a focus on translating innovation into clinical practice for infectious and genetic diseases, as well as oncology and solid organ transplantation. His expertise includes PCR, next-generation sequencing (NGS), genome-wide association studies, and liquid biopsies.
• Martin Goldberg, Ph.D.: Currently Distinguished Scientific Fellow at Seer, Inc., with over 30 years in the life sciences tools industry, spanning research-use and diagnostic platforms in genomics and proteomics.
• Professor Tin Tin Su, Ph.D.: Offers more than 25 years of expertise in chemical genetics and tissue regeneration after radiation damage, utilizing both Drosophila and human cancer models.

Transforming Oral Cancer Screening

Founded in 2024, Wisdom Bioscience is dedicated to revolutionizing oral cancer screening through the integration of advanced genomic technologies into routine dental care. The company has developed a non-invasive detection platform utilizing a simple mouth swab and next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology. This aims to enable earlier detection of oral cancer within a standard dental appointment setting.

Wisdom Bioscience is supported by a group of investors, including Stephen Quake and Jay Flatley. Proceeds from the recent financing will be used to support continued clinical validation and preparations for commercial launch later this year.
