9.47 pm: Accident at the Woerden roundabout

A Hello fresh van and a car collided at the roundabout of the Steinhagenseweg in Woerden this evening. There has been a new traffic situation at the roundabout as Thursday, but it is indeed still unclear whether this played a role in the accident.

the emergency services immediately arrived on the scene. the fire brigade had to intervene because a door of one of the vehicles did not open; the victim was removed from the car through the driver’s side. Ambulance personnel checked those involved, but it is not yet known whether anyone has been taken to hospital.

8.50 pm: Major collision in Renswoude

There was a serious collision between two cars on the Arnhemseweg (N224) in Renswoude this evening.several occupants were checked at the scene by ambulance personnel. according to a press photographer, a child was also present. No one had to go to the hospital.

Both vehicles were severely damaged by the collision and were taken away by a recovery company. The police are investigating how exactly the accident near restaurant De Hof could have happened.

Employees from the province of Utrecht were on site to manage traffic on the dark road between De Klomp and Renswoude.
