Williams College Defeats Bates College in NESCAC Quarterfinal Thriller

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Williams College Ephs secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory over the Bates College Bobcats in the NESCAC Quarterfinal on Saturday afternoon. The Ephs advance to the NESCAC Semifinals, while the Bobcats’ season comes to a close.

The game was a back-and-forth affair, with both teams displaying impressive skill and determination. Williams drew first blood with a goal in the first period,but Bates responded quickly to tie the game.The second period saw Williams regain the lead, only for Bates to equalize once more.

The decisive goal came in the third period,as Williams capitalized on a power play opportunity. Despite a late push from Bates, the Ephs’ defense held strong, securing the win.
