The No. 5 Quinnipiac women’s ice hockey team secured the third-most goals and second-largest shutout victory in program history on Tuesday night, defeating Post 10-0 at M&T Bank Arena, gobobcats.com reported. Fourteen different Bobcats registered a point, with six players posting multi-point performances as the team built a four-goal lead in both the first and second periods before adding two more in the third.

Bobcats tie program power-play goal record

Quinnipiac converted three power-play opportunities, tying a program record for most power-play goals in a single game. Avery Bairos, Kahlen Lamarche, and Annika Stock paced the offense with three points each. Bairos and Aynsley D’Ottavio both contributed multi-goal games, with Bairos netting the second multi-goal performance of her career in as many contests. Lamarche tied for the game high with three assists, marking her 41st career multi-point game.

The victory featured several collegiate milestones. Regan Berglund scored her first career goal to secure the second point of her career, while Stock earned her first career points by tallying three assists. Natalia Dilbone stopped all eight shots faced to earn her second victory of the season and her first collegiate shutout. Dilbone improved to 2-0-0 on the year with a 0.50 goals-against average and a 0.957 save percentage.

Quinnipiac leads nation in total goals scored

The 10-goal output marks Quinnipiac’s highest single-game scoring total since November 8, 2023, when the Bobcats set a program record with 12 goals against Post. The team currently leads the nation with 25 total goals scored. D’Ottavio leads the squad with seven points this season, while Cassidy Lobisser scored in back-to-back games following her first collegiate goal against Providence on October 3. Additional goals came from Makayla Watson, Keara Parker, Ella Johnson, and Ilsa Lindaman, alongside a multi-assist performance from Ella Sennick.

Upcoming Matchup Against Northeastern

The Bobcats return to the ice on Friday, Oct. 16, to host No. 7 Northeastern for a 6 p.m. puck drop. Quinnipiac will then welcome alumni back to Hamden on Saturday, Oct. 17, to celebrate its 2026 ECAC Championship team with a banner-raising ceremony and postgame ring presentation.
