WWE Adjusts RAW and SmackDown Taping Schedule for Late December
WWE Adjusts RAW and smackdown Taping Schedule for Late December – WWE has updated its television taping schedule for the end of the month, resulting in significant timing and lineup changes for fans attending upcoming shows. The company has officially moved the start time for this Monday’s RAW taping in Hershey, Pennsylvania at The GIANT Center to 6 PM EST. Along with the earlier bell time, WWE will now tape an episode of SmackDown during the same event turning the night into a double-show production for those in attendance.
The adjustment comes as WWE works through a packed holiday schedule, and this is not the only instance of a dual-brand taping. WWE has also confirmed that the Friday, December 29 SmackDown taping in Grand Rapids, Michigan will feature the same structure. That event, which will take place at a 6 PM EST start time as well, is slated to include both a SmackDown and a RAW episode giving fans a full night of action ahead of the new Year.
These multi-show tapings are typically organized when WWE adjusts its travel calendar or prepares for a week where its performers and production teams have reduced live-event duties. With the holidays approaching and several roster members already moving between brands more frequently, consolidating tapings allows the company to maintain broadcast quality while easing its end-of-year workload.
For fans planning to attend either event, the earlier start time means a longer evening filled with matches and segments from both RAW and SmackDown. While WWE has not announced
