AJ Styles Tribute Set for WWE Raw Amid Retirement and Future Speculation
This Monday, WWE Raw will host a special tribute to AJ Styles following his forced retirement after a career-threatening match against GUNTHER at the Royal Rumble last month. The event will take place at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, approximately an hour from Styles’ hometown of Gainesville.
Major Stars Expected to Attend
While details surrounding the tribute remain limited, reports indicate that a significant number of WWE stars are expected to be in attendance. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, talent from across the WWE promotion are anticipated to be present.
Cody Rhodes, who shares a Georgia connection with Styles and has been a rival in recent years, is likely to appear. As of now, there has been no confirmation regarding the attendance of any wrestling legends.
Future Uncertain for “The Phenomenal One”
Since his retirement at the Royal Rumble, speculation has arisen regarding Styles’ potential future in professional wrestling. Some fans believe he may return to TNA or debut for AEW. Styles himself has not ruled out a return, stating on the “What’s Your Story” podcast with Stephanie McMahon that wrestlers are allowed “one chance to come out of retirement.”
Recent WWE Performance Center Visit
Adding to the intrigue, Styles was recently seen at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The reason for his visit remains unknown.
