Xbox Game Pass Demos Available Now at Steam Next Fest 2026

From February 23rd to March 2nd, 2026, players can experience demos of ten upcoming Xbox Game Pass titles as part of Steam Next Fest 2026. Several demos are likewise available directly on Xbox.

Vampire Crawlers

A spinoff of the popular Vampire Survivors, Vampire Crawlers offers a different approach to the “bullet heaven” genre. Instead of fast-paced action, players explore dungeons and build a deck of cards for turn-based combat. A demo is available on Xbox separately from Steam Next Fest.

Beastro

Beastro puts players in the role of Panko, a fox chef who cooks meals for warriors defending the world from darkness. The game combines cooking, farming, fighting, and mini-games.

Denshattack

Denshattack is a high-speed racing game where players take on the role of a train performing stunts on abandoned railway tracks in Japan. The goal is to outshine rival gangs and reclaim the railways.

Planet of Lana 2: Children of the Leaf

The sequel to the critically acclaimed Planet of Lana, Planet of Lana 2: Children of the Leaf features expanded gameplay, complex puzzles, and novel abilities for the companion Mui, all within a world twice the size of the original. A demo is also available on Xbox.

Sledding Game

Sledding Game is a casual, physics-based game designed for cooperative play. Players sled, perform tricks, and embrace the chaotic ragdoll physics.

Awaysis

Awaysis offers solo or four-player cooperative gameplay in a visually striking world with physics-based combat.

Echo Generation 2

The sequel to the first Echo Generation, this sci-fi deckbuilding RPG features a voxel art style. Developer Cococucumber aims to address previous issues for a smoother experience. A demo is available on Xbox.

Vapor World: Over The Mind

Inspired by Bloodborne and Sekiro, Vapor World: Over The Mind is a 2D soulslike where players, as ‘The Boy,’ navigate a dark dream and battle monsters to awaken.

Armatus

Armatus is a third-person roguelite shooter set in a demon-infested Paris. Players take on the role of the last supernatural warrior of an ancient order, wielding firearms and celestial powers.

Nova Roma

Nova Roma is a Roman city builder where players rebuild a city after the fall of the Empire, managing citizens, appeasing gods, and defending against attacks. A recently updated demo is available on Steam.
