The game plunges players into a virtual world where they must defend against waves of computer viruses, turning their living rooms into a digital warzone.

A Unique Cybersecurity Challenge

Xploit.zero presents a unique scenario: a critical security breach has infected a supercomputer. Players capture on the role of a consciousness uploaded into the mainframe, tasked with protecting the CPU and the only gateway back to reality from relentless malicious code. The game blends strategy and action, requiring players to strategically defend against digital threats.

Gameplay Mechanics: Turrets, Malworms, and Hand-to-Hand Combat

Players defend against crawling DDoS attacks by strategically placing defensive structures along malware pathways, optimizing turret placement within their field of vision. Defeated viruses yield Memory Cores, used to upgrade weapon capacities and prepare for increasingly challenging waves.

Adding to the complexity, airborne Malworms attack from all directions, targeting turrets. Players must actively swipe at incoming missiles with their Meta Quest Controllers to deflect them and maintain the integrity of the digital-to-real-world connection.

Game Modes and Competitive Leaderboards

Xploit.zero offers two distinct game modes:

• Countdown Mode: Timed levels with escalating difficulty challenge players to optimize their strategies under pressure.
• Infinite Mode: Players choose a difficulty level and attempt to survive endless waves of digital threats, testing their endurance, and efficiency.

A global leaderboard tracks player performance, allowing guardians of the NeuroGate to compare survival times and compete for the top spot.
