On February 7, the two-day “Xue Yaodong Ji Puppet Is Here Jiamusi Ice and Snow Creative Chinese Comic Exhibition” opened at the Jiamusi University Gymnasium. The event brought a unique cultural feast to nearly a thousand animation lovers, tourists and cultural practitioners.

The Hezhe God Puppet IP has 14 original characters, each with unique images, complete backgrounds and character settings. The Hezhe God Puppet IP originates from the Yimakan epic of the Hezhe people. It carries the traditional belief that “all things are animistic” and revolves around the guardian story of the young Hit and his idol companions such as the tiger god and the deer god. It is not just a collection of images, but integrates the Hezhen people’s daily fishing and hunting life, folk customs and intangible cultural heritage crafts into it, becoming a bridge connecting the ancient national culture with the younger generation, and it is also the unique cultural and tourism business card of Jiamusi.

At the comic show, the exciting activities are dizzying. The magic stick dance brought by the Tongjiang Intangible Cultural Heritage Yimakan Art Troupe kicked off the event. The deer god “Kumak Nduli” and the bear god “Mafok Nduli” among the Hezhe idols made wonderful appearances, instantly igniting the atmosphere at the scene. Fans gathered in front of the super large autograph wall and Coser display wall, and everyone took photos to record this unforgettable moment.

In the intangible cultural heritage product display area, the aroma of intangible cultural heritage delicacies such as sugar paintings and noodles is overflowing, making people salivate. Visitors can not only taste delicious food, but also participate in interactive intangible cultural heritage crafts and experience the charm of traditional culture first-hand. Activities such as collecting stamps and playing games to win prizes were also loved by everyone, and there was constant laughter at the venue. “It’s my first time to come to Jiamusi. This event was so well organized. Not only did it have wonderful animation elements, but you can also feel the local intangible cultural heritage. This fusion of tradition and trend is so creative.” said Sun Shanpeng, an animation enthusiast from Shuangyashan City.
It is reported that the Olai Cultural IP commercial complex is under construction in full swing. This complex, with a theme hotel endorsed by Tiger God and a two-dimensional shopping mall as its core, will start construction in June 2025 and is expected to open on May 1, 2026. By then, tourists can enjoy the one-stop immersive happiness of “food, accommodation, travel, shopping, entertainment + viewing exhibitions” here.
