RGG Studio has announced a day-one patch, version 1.11, for Yakuza 3 Kiwami & Dark Ties on the Nintendo Switch 2, coinciding with the game’s release tomorrow. This update addresses existing issues and introduces several enhancements to the player experience.
The initial patch focuses on improving core gameplay elements. Players can expect the implementation of a new Game+ mode, allowing for continued progression after completing the main story. Meaningful improvements to water rendering are also included, enhancing the visual fidelity of in-game environments. Moreover, the presentation of Downtown Ryuku will receive revisions, aiming for a more polished aesthetic.
Looking ahead, RGG Studio plans to release update 1.12 at a later date. This subsequent patch will further refine the visual experience, specifically targeting improvements to the display of Kamurocho and select mini-games. As with any game update, a suite of bug fixes will also be included to ensure a smoother and more stable gameplay experience.
