He graduated from Herrin High School in 1996 before pursuing higher education at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, where he earned an undergraduate degree in physiology. He continued his education at the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in Alton, Illinois, graduating in 2005.

A Return to Southern Illinois and a Thriving Practice

Following dental school, Dr. Settle returned to Southern Illinois to practice dentistry, dedicating himself to serving the community he called home. He built a successful practice and was known for his compassionate care and positive impact on his patients’ lives.

In 2008, Justin married Brynne Emery, and together they raised three children: Ava, Josey, and Coy. His children were his greatest pride and joy.
