Sin Permiso Sessions Bring Intimate 360-Degree Shows to Smaller Venues

Following a successful run of major tour dates, original members Erick Rincón, Alberto Presenda (DJ Otto), and Sergio Zavala (DJ Sheeqo Beat) are taking a hands-on approach to fan engagement. Inspired by the Boiler Room format, each night of the Sin Permiso Sessions begins with an individual DJ set from one of the members before all three unite for the full 3BallMTY performance. According to Billboard, ticketing and early access are managed through private codes via Laylo to keep venue capacities limited. “It’s going to be 3BallMTY parties where we’ll be playing all night,” Sheeqo Beat told Billboard backstage prior to the group’s Pier 17 show in New York. “They’re very intimate shows, in smaller venues, maybe 500 to 1,000 people, and you’re literally playing while the crowd is right there next to you.”

Tribal Guarachero’s Historic Rise and Reunion

The current resurgence follows the 2025 reunion of 3BallMTY’s original lineup for the La Vuelta Tour, ending an eight-year hiatus from major touring. The group first captured international attention during the 2012 Mexican tribal boom with their hit single “Inténtalo,” featuring El Bebeto and América Sierra. The track reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart, while the accompanying album topped the Top Regional Mexican Albums chart and entered the Billboard 200 at No. 126. That same year, the trio swept nine Billboard Mexican Music Awards and won the Latin Grammy for best new artist. The movement also popularized cultural symbols such as Mexican pointy boots, documented in a 2011 VICE short film titled Mexican Pointy Boots, which brought Matehuala, San Luis Potosí dance crews to global audiences.

Global Expansion and International Collaborations

The group’s 2026 Club Conexión Tour has hit dozens of cities with sold-out dates in Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, Nashville, Denver, and New York.
