Austin Man Arrested in Connection with November Homicide

Details of the Incident
On Thursday, November 13, 2025, at approximately 5:22 p.m., APD officers responded to a call regarding a deceased person at 4107 Victory Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered Robert Wentworth inside a cardboard box located behind a bus stop. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:53 p.m. by emergency medical personnel. initial assessment indicated trauma to the victim.
Investigation and Arrest
Homicide detectives and crime scene specialists processed the scene and interviewed potential witnesses. The investigation quickly focused on Aidan Hunt, who was identified as living with Wentworth just a few hundred yards from the location where the body was discovered.
A search warrant was executed at Hunt’s residence, leading to the discovery of evidence linking him to the murder. Based on this evidence, an arrest warrant was issued for Hunt on charges of First-degree Murder.
The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force apprehended Hunt on the morning of November 16, 2025, in the 3900 block of Lamar Boulevard without incident.
