The company initiated this recall after receiving notification from the Washington State Department of Agriculture about a positive Listeria result on a sample of their peaches. Symptoms of Listeria Infection
Listeria infection (listeriosis) can cause fever, muscle aches, headache, stiff neck, confusion, loss of balance, and convulsions. Pregnant women, the elderly, and people with weakened immune systems are at higher risk of severe illness, which can sometiems lead to death. Symptoms typically appear one to four weeks after eating contaminated food, but can appear as early as the same day or as late as 70 days after exposure.

Consumers should discard any recalled stone fruit promptly. Don’t eat it, even if it looks and smells fine. Thoroughly clean any surfaces that may have come into contact with the fruit, such as refrigerators, counters, and cutting boards.
