Water Leak Causes Emergency Response in Maassluis

Maassluis,2025/12/04 20:16:54 – The Maassluis fire brigade responded too a meaningful water leak at a vacant building on Mackayplein Wednesday afternoon.

Reports came in around 4:10 PM detailing continuous water flow inside the building, even reaching the meter cupboard. This caused a short circuit and created potentially hazardous conditions.

Firefighters instantly requested police assistance to access the building. They discovered a substantial leak inside. Evides arrived to shut off the water supply, and Stedin checked the electrical system. Due to the potential for contaminated water, the DCMR environmental agency was also dispatched to investigate.
