Residents have repeatedly complained about concerts causing public space invasion, noise disturbances, garbage accumulation, and unsanitary conditions without official response. A major issue is the absence of portable toilets, leading attendees to use nearby trees, gardens, and home fronts as restrooms, creating unpleasant odors and requiring residents to clean up the mess.
Parking is also a problem,with cars blocking sidewalks and driveways,hindering traffic and causing conflict.Residents criticize the lack of effective enforcement and controls during large events.
Recent concerts,including The mona Jiménez last weekend,have heightened these concerns. An upcoming weekend featuring two performances by The Fundamentalists of Air Conditioning, fronted by Indio Solari, has triggered renewed complaints.
The conflict escalated a year ago during a series of concerts by Lice, resulting in damage and a formal complaint filed with the Municipal Operations Center (COM) to prevent recurrence.
