Lido eyes Expansion After New Production Building Opens

Catering adn food trading company JSC “Lido” is considering broader expansion plans following the completion of its new production building on Kurzeme prospect, slated to open in mid-2027. this was announced by Rita Auziņa, Chairman of the Board of “Lido.”

currently,”Lido’s” production capacity is fully utilized,driving the need for the new facility. “An active process of designing the production plant has started. This is the main priority in order to increase the capacity of “Lido” and to be able to open new catering locations,” Auziņa stated.

Until the new production facility is operational, “Lido” will focus on integrating new technologies to enhance the service format, customer comfort, and overall experience at its existing locations.

auziņa confirmed that “Lido” is actively evaluating potential new dining locations, but expansion is currently limited by production capacity. The company’s new concept stores are performing well,suggesting a potential avenue for growth.

Looking beyond Latvia, Auziņa indicated that Lithuania and Estonia represent potential markets for expansion. In Lithuania, opportunities are being explored, and in Estonia, “Lido” is considering expanding beyond its current Tallinn location to include Tartu. Moreover,the company plans to develop additional locations within riga,alongside renovations of existing dining establishments and improvements to the “Lido” recreation center.
