Warren County COWS Activation Caused by Software Update
Bowling Green, Ky. – A recent activation of the Community Warning System (COWS) in Warren County on Saturday evening at approximately 8:30 P.M. was triggered by a newly implemented software update, according to warren County Emergency management.
The agency has confirmed the system has been temporarily taken offline while technicians work to identify and resolve the underlying issue with the update. Emergency Management officials assure residents that the COWS system remains capable of being activated if emergency conditions necessitate its use.
