The university of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) mourns the passing of Ramón Trujillo Carreño,Emeritus Professor of General Grammar and Literary Criticism at the University of La Laguna. Professor Trujillo Carreño was a distinguished figure in the field of linguistics, particularly known for his work in semantics, language studies, and Canarian dialects.
