The application concerns a planned increase in the production capacity of the animal feed facility from less than 300 t/day to 800 t/day,thereby classifying the facility under Section 7.21 of Annex 1 to the 4th BImSchV.
This capacity increase will involve the construction of a new machine house atop the existing mixing plant, housing a new mill and mixer. Weighed components will be elevated, chopped, and mixed with minerals in this new structure. The existing machines will be dismantled following the commissioning of the new equipment. Additionally, a second feed press will be installed.

The project is hereby made public in accordance with Section 10 Paragraph 3 BImSchG.
In accordance with the 4th BImSchV and the provisions of the BImSchG, the proposed project requires approval under these regulations.
For systems listed in column c of Annex 1 of the 4th BImSchV with the letter G, an approval procedure must be conducted according to Section 10 BImSchG, including public participation and adherence to the relevant provisions of the 9th BImSchV. this applies to plants as defined in No. 7.21 of Annex 1 of the 4th BImSchV for grinding food, animal feed or similar vegetable substances not intended as food or feed (mills) with a production capacity of 300 tonnes of finished products or more per day or 600 tonnes of finished products or more per day, provided that the plant is not in operation on more than 90 consecutive days per year.
