Suspect Killed After Pursuit and Shootout Near tuttle, Oklahoma
Oklahoma City, OK – December 14, 2025 – A suspect died following a vehicle pursuit early Saturday morning that culminated in a shootout and officer-involved shooting near Tuttle, Oklahoma. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) assisted the Mustang Police Department in the pursuit, which began before 5:00 a.m.
According to an OHP report, the incident unfolded when the passenger of a vehicle fired a weapon at law enforcement officers during the chase. The vehicle eventually came to a stop on silver City Ridge Road, southwest of Oklahoma City. The passenger then fled on foot, entering a nearby residence.
A trooper discharged their firearm,fatally shooting the suspect inside the home. The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene. No law enforcement officers sustained injuries during the incident.
The driver of the vehicle was injured and transported to an Oklahoma City hospital. The extent and cause of the driver’s injuries remain unknown at this time. As of Saturday afternoon, authorities have not announced whether the driver has been arrested or charged with any crimes.
