Rising Energy Costs and Fuel Prices

According to AAA figures cited by POLITICO, regular gasoline averaged $4.22 per gallon, reflecting an increase from $4.01 a month prior, while diesel fuel approached a record high of nearly $6 a gallon. Oil prices surged past $100 a barrel amid renewed hostilities. Trump acknowledged the economic strain but maintained that costs will not decrease until after the legislative elections.
