Job Description
The Role
A Business Process Consultant (BPC) for ServiceNow is a functional and process expert within the servicenow Expert Services Team, working directly with customers. You will consult with clients, guiding them in translating business requirements into configuration requirements for ServiceNow Core Business Services Products – including HR Service Delivery (HRSD), Workplace/Facility Service Delivery (WSD), Employee Service Management Solutions, and Legal Service Delivery (LSD). The ultimate goal is to accelerate and drive positive business outcomes for our customers.
What you get to do in this role:
* Serve as the process expert for HR, Workplace/Facility, and/or Legal departments, utilizing ServiceNow products and best practices with a focus on configuration over customization to achieve business results.
* Lead process definition, re-engineering, advancement, and gap analysis of current and future-state processes through workshops with key customer sponsors and stakeholders.
* Guide customers in maximizing the standard capabilities of the ServiceNow Solution to improve their processes.
* Lead customer design workshops centered on ServiceNow Platform and Solution functionality.
* Collaborate with key customer process owners/Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather business requirements using ServiceNow standard materials.
* Guide customers in completing essential documentation,such as business requirement workbooks,for the functional aspects of the solution.
* Develop persona-based and functionality-focused user stories, including acceptance criteria, testing strategies, and knowledge transfer plans, supporting customers in their review and approval. You will own the entire lifecycle of user stories – from draft to completion.
* Champion the customer’s needs throughout the engagement.
* support internal unit testing of the developed solution during the progress phase, in partnership with Technical Resources.
* Drive customer unit and user-acceptance testing requirements throughout and at key stages of an engagement.
* Be a core member of an overall engagement project team, focused on delivering prosperous and impactful customer outcomes.
* Prepare all customer-facing deliverables focused on process.
* Manage multiple and complex projects/initiatives simultaneously.
* Promote continuous improvement practices for delivery/engagement materials.
* Support specific sales activities as needed.
* Provide training and mentoring to other members of the ServiceNow delivery team and partner ecosystem upon request.
* Travel up to 50% annually, based on customer needs and internal meetings.
