Bogor Regency Government’s Message to Staff After Dismissing 2 Viral ASN

Jakarta – Teh Bogor Regency Government, West Java, has dismissed two ASN (State Civil Apparatus) – an elementary and middle school supervisor – suspected of having an affair and cohabiting. The Bogor Regency Government is urging all ASN in the Bogor Regency area to uphold their honor and dignity as public servants.

“This must be a collective learning experiance. Our actions have consequences, so we must maintain our mandate as state officials,” said Bogor Regency Regional Secretary, ajat Rochmat Jatnika, as reported by Between on Sunday, December 21, 2025.

The case began with a public complaint alleging the two ASNs were living together outside of marriage.
