Max Verstappen Team Switches to Mercedes-AMG in 2026 – GT World Challenge

Verstappen.com Racing will contest the entire season with a Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the GT World Challenge Europe in 2026. The vehicle is used by 2 Seas motorsport, for whom Max Verstappen last tested in Estoril. The car will compete in the Pro class.

Verstappen.com Racing’s new collaboration with Mercedes-AMG is designed to last several years.

Stefan Wendl, Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing, says: “We are very pleased that Verstappen Racing has decided to field a Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the GT World Challenge Europe. With 2 Seas Motorsport, the project is supported by a very experienced team that has already achieved numerous successes and championship titles with our vehicle. Accordingly, we are very pleased about this extremely ambitious and promising project and about another top-class participant in both the Sprint Cup and the Endurance Cup of the GT World Challenge Europe.”

In the Sprint Cup, the vehicle will be driven by chris Lulham and former Mercedes-AMG works driver Daniel juncadella, who will drive for Genesis in the FIA WEC Hypercar

Verstappen Racing Expands into GT World Challenge Europe with Mercedes-AMG

Verstappen Racing is expanding its presence in GT racing, partnering with Mercedes-AMG Motorsport for the upcoming GT World Challenge Europe season. The team will field a Mercedes-AMG GT3, building on its existing success in the GT World Challenge Europe series.

This move follows Verstappen Racing’s successful 2024 season with 2 Seas Motorsport,where chris Lulham,Thierry Vermeulen,and Harry king secured the Gold Cup title in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup driving an Aston Martin Vantage GT3.
