JLI Releases Thorough Guide to Kashrus

As Anash communities worldwide prepare to celebrate Hey Teves, JLI has announced a notable new publication: Living Jewish, The Complete Guide to Keeping Kosher. This groundbreaking volume is now available for order at a special Hey Teves price of $35, offering a level of clarity and comprehensive detail previously unavailable in English-language Halachic literature.

JLI is renowned for producing curricula for shluchim to reach broad audiences. This marks their first foray into a standalone book publication. The new guide serves as a definitive overview of hilchos kashrus for every Chabad home, covering the intricacies of modern kitchens with rigorous precision while remaining visually accessible.

Authored over four years by Rabbi Berel Polityko, a moreh hora’ah in Airmont, NY, alongside Rabbi Meir Kerzner and Rabbi Mendy goldberg, the entire project was produced under the direct guidance of JLI curriculum codirectors Rabbi Mordechai Dinerman and Rabbi Mordechai Farkash.
