Neuqua Valley Boys Swimming Dominates DVC Opener Against Metea Valley
Neuqua Valley High School’s boys swimming team kicked off their DVC season with a decisive victory over Metea Valley, winning 139-34. Several Wildcats swimmers secured first-place finishes, showcasing the team’s strength and setting a strong tone for the season.
Key Performances
The meet began with a strong showing in the 50-yard freestyle, where Arun Kaura took first place. He was followed by Peter Carroll and Aly Hassanien, completing a strong sweep for Neuqua Valley. Sean Siwicki and Charlie Kalnicky rounded out the top five for Metea Valley.
Anderson See continued the Wildcats’ momentum, winning the 100-yard butterfly. Colin louden secured second place in the event.
Jackson Wagoner dominated the 100-yard freestyle, finishing ahead of teammates Luke Oitker and Jack Fastabend, who took second and third respectively. Dylan Gargas and Nicolas Delgado finished fourth and fifth,representing Metea valley.
Looking Ahead
Neuqua valley’s strong performance signals a promising season. the team will look to continue their winning streak as they progress through the DVC schedule.
