People We Meet on Vacation is based on Emily Henry’s popular 2021 novel of the same name. The story follows Poppy and Alex, two best friends who have taken a yearly summer trip together for a decade. Despite an undeniable connection, they’ve always maintained they’re “just friends.” After a falling out, Poppy decides to convince Alex to take one last trip wiht her, hoping to repair their friendship and maybe, explore something more.

Emily Jane leads the cast as travel writer Poppy,alongside Tom Blyth who plays her best friend Alex. Emily Jane is known for her role in the Prime Video series My Lady Jane. Tom Blyth recently starred as a young President Snow in The Hunger Games: the Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes.
