Job Description Summary: Insurance & Risk Specialist – LEGO Group
This role at the LEGO Group is a key position within the Global Risk Management & Insurance team, acting as a point of contact for insurance operations adn sales across several European countries. You will be a generalist handling various non-life insurance lines, working closely with a small, global team (Billund & Shanghai) to support the LEGO Group, KIRKBI, and Family businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (brokers, insurers, risk engineers, etc.) ensuring smooth cooperation.
* Insurance Program Management: Manage non-life insurance programs across designated European countries, including procurement, claims handling, and general queries.
* Process Improvement: Drive the development and ongoing maintenance of insurance processes and standards.
* Technical Expertise: Leverage experience with global construction/property insurance, program structures, and insurance terminology (MFL, EML/PML, NLE).
* Risk Mitigation: Apply knowledge of loss prevention solutions (sprinkler systems, alarms, FM-NFPA standards).
* Collaboration: Work effectively within a team to achieve shared goals.
Qualifications:
* Experience: Proven experience as a risk manager, insurance broker, or underwriter. Strong experience with global construction and property insurance programs is essential.
* Education: Relevant education from a recognized institution (e.g., Danish Insurance Academy or equivalent).
* Skills:
* Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
* Advanced English proficiency (C1 level or equivalent).
* Ability to drive process development.
* Technical understanding of loss prevention.
* Travel: Willingness to travel 20-30 days per year.
