3D-Printed Majesty Building Replica Brings Florida’s ‘I-4 Eyesore’ to Your Christmas Village

For over two decades, the unfinished Majesty Building in Altamonte Springs, Florida, has been a prominent, and frequently enough lamented, fixture of the I-4 corridor. Now, thanks to the ingenuity of a 3D printing enthusiast, a remarkably accurate replica of this infamous structure can be incorporated into your Christmas village display.

The project, initially conceived in 2019, aims to playfully acknowledge the building’s perpetually “under construction” status. The creator utilized Fusion360 to design the model freehand, prioritizing recognizability over absolute perfection. Given the lack of substantial progress on the actual building, the model has remained surprisingly current.

Designed with 3D printing in mind,the replica is optimized for single-plate printing with an AMS (Automatic Material system). However, recognizing the varying scales of Christmas villages, the creator has thoughtfully provided three distinct scaled versions:

• Miniature: 2.2 inches
• Standard: 4.4 inches (as seen in the model photographs)
• Build Volume Maximizing: 9.7 inches
