Veterans Day is a crucial day to recognize the dedication and sacrifice of America’s veterans. This Tuesday, November 11th, central Florida counties are hosting numerous celebrations and ceremonies to show their gratitude. The date itself holds historical importance; Veterans Day is observed annually on November 11th to commemorate the armistice that ended fighting between the allied nations and Germany during World War I. It took effect on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918.
