WASHINGTON (AP) – Luka Dončić delivered a dominant performance, recording a remarkable triple-double before halftime in the Los Angeles Lakers’ commanding victory over the Washington Wizards on Friday night.
Dončić amassed 26 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds in the frist two quarters alone, propelling the Lakers to a considerable 77-48 lead at the intermission. his tenth rebound came in the final moments of the second quarter.
Despite entering the game listed as questionable due to ankle soreness sustained during wednesday’s loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers,Dončić was able to take the court and make an immediate impact. Lakers guard Austin Reaves remained sidelined with a calf injury.
