This week there will be three days of driving: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Next week there will be three more test days in Bahrain from February 18th to February 20th. Two weeks later, the first racing weekend of the new season will take place in Melbourne, Australia, from March 6th to 8th.

The first test drives two weeks ago took place largely behind closed doors. The new cars were put through their paces intensively for the first time at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Several days of testing were unsuccessful; the eleven teams were not yet able to produce any major findings. Things will now be completely different in Bahrain.
Days in Bahrain are also open to the public. The training days are broadcast live and in detail, and the interest is therefore much greater than at the first shakedown in Barcelona.
