Men’s Volleyball Falls at Home Against the Hawks

(Crestview Hills, KY) – The Thomas More University men’s volleyball team faced off against the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks on Tuesday (February 10).  Maryland Eastern Shore defeated the Saints in four sets as Thomas More moves to 0-5 overall.

Maryland Eastern Shore defeats Thomas More, 3-1.

• Maryland Eastern Shore won the opening set 25 to 13.

• Maryland Eastern Shore won the third set 25 to 12.

• Thomas More won the third set 29 to 27.

• Maryland Eastern Shore won the fourth set and the match 25 to 16.
  

• Senior Dominic Rossi (Pittsburgh, PA/Shaler Area) led the Saints in kills with 13.

• Senior WIll Strasser (Cleves, OH/Taylor) led the team in service aces with 3.

• Sophomore Maciej Kopacz (Schaumburg, IL/James B. Conant) led in blocks with 1.

• Senior Noah Smith-Trondle (Cincinnati, OH/Walnut Hills) led the match in assists with 21.

• Junior Blake Kibler (Columbus,OH/Licking Heights) and Senior Noah Smith-Trondle (Cincinnati, OH/Walnut Hills) both led the Saints in digs with 8 each.

The Thomas More men’s volleyball team returns to action on Saturday (February 14) against the #19 Lincoln Memorial University Railsplitters in Harrogate, TN.  The match is set for 2:00 PM.
