New Managing Director for Cologne Tourism

Stephanie Kleine Klausing (photo) will take on responsibility as managing director for the Cologne Tourism marketing company. She succeeds Jürgen Amann, who is moving to the capital and taking over the management of Visit Berlin from June.

With Stephanie Kleine Klausing, a long-standing manager from our own ranks will join the management team on April 1st. She has been working in responsible positions for Köln Tourismus GmbH for many years and, according to the company, has played a key role in shaping the strategic development as well as the national and international marketing of Cologne as a tourism location during this time.

Amann, who took up his position in Cologne in February 2020, will join on June 1st Visit Berlin take over from Burkhard Kieker, who is retiring. Loud Cologne City Gazette Amann had applied for a job in Cologne because, despite a proven track record, he had only been offered a two-year extension to his managing director’s contract.
