Czech automaker Škoda has expanded the infotainment system of the all-electric models Enyaq (with software version 4.0 and above) and Elroq, adding new entertainment options.
Both models now feature the Air Console gaming platform, which allows you to shorten the time between charging breaks by using your smartphone as a game controller. The Škoda Play video service has also been introduced, offering personalized news and educational content from authorized partners, as well as direct Spotify integration.
All three features are included in the Media Streaming Package, which is available free of charge for the first three years of new cars. Both Air Console and Škoda Play can only be activated when the car is stationary.
In addition, the Traffication app for current Škoda models has also been updated. It now warns of approaching emergency vehicles, thus improving traffic safety.
On the other hand, the route planner operated by artificial intelligence has been improved in the My Škoda app. In the future, it will offer more detailed configuration options, such as allowing you to select charging stations near specific locations, limit charging to Powerpass stations only, or set a minimum battery charge level at your destination.
