Family TV evenings allow us to strengthen bonds by having fun and being moved together, and provide the opportunity to open discussions about the content watched. It is a favorite program for many households on Friday evening, even more so when it is the holidays as is currently the case for zone A and zone B (from this evening) in France. And, this Friday, February 13, 2026, the program is ready: Rioa famous cartoon, is broadcast in the early evening.
What does it tell Rio ?
Blu is a young blue aro, the last male of his species, which is therefore particularly rare and endangered. Born in the Brazilian rainforest, he was torn from his natural habitat by poachers and arrived in the United States after an eventful journey. He is then taken in by Linda, a bookseller who lives in a small town in Minnesota, and he lives a quiet life alongside her. And he has a rare feature among parrots: he is unable to fly.
One day, a Brazilian ornithologist, Tulio, knocks on Linda’s door and explains that Blu is the last hope to save the bluebirds from extinction. The parrot then returns to Brazil to meet Perla, a female who is his exact opposite. She will take her fellow creature for a fool but, while they will be threatened by poachers, they will have to combine their forces to escape them. They will then experience a frenzied adventure at the very moment when the carnival takes place.
