Achmad Muchtasyar Appointed as Recent Director of Pelindo
Jakarta – PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero), also known as Pelindo, has appointed Achmad Muchtasyar as its new Director, effective February 23, 2026.1 This marks a significant change in leadership for the state-owned enterprise.
Leadership Changes at Pelindo
Achmad Muchtasyar replaces Arief Suhartono as Director.2 Drajat Sulistyo has been appointed as the new Deputy Director.1 several other key positions have been filled, including:
- Farid Padang – Director of Commerce
- Prasetyo – Director of Business Development
- Hendri Ginting – Director of Institutional Relations
- Prasetyadi – Director of Operations2
The composition of the Board of Commissioners remains unchanged.1
Background of Achmad Muchtasyar
Prior to his appointment at Pelindo, Achmad Muchtasyar served as the Deputy Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga from July 2025 to February 2026.123 He also held the position of Director General of Oil and Gas at the Ministry of ESDM in January 2025.1 Earlier in his career, he was the Director of Infrastructure and Technology at PT PGN Tbk from May 2021 to November 2023.14
Educational Background
Achmad Muchtasyar has a diverse academic background. He completed a Professional Engineer Program at Gadjah Mada University in 2023, having previously earned a Bachelor of Law degree from Bhayangkara University in 2020.13 He also holds a Master of Industrial Engineering from the University of New Haven (2000) and a Bachelor of Petroleum Engineering from Trisakti University (1997).13
