Rachael Jay Joins WJZ Baltimore as Meteorologist

Rachael Jay has joined WJZ, a CBS affiliate in Baltimore, Maryland, as a First Alert Meteorologist. Her arrival at WJZ was announced in November 2024, marking a return to her home state after several years working in other markets.

Background and Experience

Prior to WJZ, Jay worked at NBC Connecticut (WVIT-TV) for nearly three years, leaving the station in October 2024. Patch.com reported that she announced her move to Baltimore on Facebook.

Jay’s career includes previous positions at HMTV6 in Hagerstown, Maryland, KWWL in Waterloo, Iowa and WVEC in Norfolk, Virginia.
